Michael Eisenberg

Michael Eisenberg is a prominent Israeli venture capitalist and the co-founder and General Partner of Aleph, an early-stage investment fund that partners with Israeli entrepreneurs to build influential global companies and brands. During a venture-capital career spanning more than 25 years, he has backed companies including Wix, Lemonade, Melio, HoneyBook, JoyTunes, Bringg and Healthy.io. Before establishing Aleph in 2013, he held senior investment roles at Israel Seed Partners and Benchmark Capital, helping identify and develop several of Israel’s most successful technology ventures.

Beyond investing, Eisenberg is an author, public commentator and advocate for strengthening Israel’s entrepreneurial economy. He writes and lectures on technology, venture capital, macroeconomics, Jewish thought and Israel’s transition from “Start-Up Nation” to “Scale-Up Nation,” and has contributed regularly to publications including TheMarker and Calcalist. His books include The Tree of Life and Prosperity: 21st Century Business Principles from the Book of Genesis, which draws on biblical narratives to explore enduring principles of business, leadership and economic life. In 2020, he also co-founded the Nevo Network, a fellowship designed to help new immigrants build successful careers and professional communities within Israel’s technology sector.
